Welcome to the blog of Lighthouse Christian Homeschool!

This blog serves three purposes:

1. To have a place to 'jot down' the day to day happenings in our homeschool for our support teacher to see, in hopes that some of the things we do will fit nicely into the provincial learning outcomes.

2. To keep my family up to date on what we're 'up to'.

3. To glorify God.

So on that note, come on in!

The Pumpkin Patch

Last Friday we went on our annual trip to the Hazelmere Pumpkin Patch. We learned more about pumpkins and had fun petting the animals, going through the corn maze and picking out our own pumpkins (some were much bigger than others!

Cool! A blue pumpkin!
Riding the Hayride through the mud.

Off and running into the corn maze

Finding the perfect pumpkin

How about this one Mom? Ummm...No!

The rule is 'you can only have the pumpkin if you can carry it yourself.'

Uh-oh, It's getting heavy!

Here Josh, I'll help you.
