Welcome to the blog of Lighthouse Christian Homeschool!

This blog serves three purposes:

1. To have a place to 'jot down' the day to day happenings in our homeschool for our support teacher to see, in hopes that some of the things we do will fit nicely into the provincial learning outcomes.

2. To keep my family up to date on what we're 'up to'.

3. To glorify God.

So on that note, come on in!

Another day, the Snowbirds did an aerial show right over our house!

We spent time building a castle:

We took swimming lessons:

We started our own baking business. We sold cookies to grandmas, friends, neighbours, and even to a referral. It was so popular that we were still selling cookies into September! When all was said and done, we had sold 44 Dozen cookies! Whew! Now, the kids are talking about making a new order form for Christmas-time baking!
