By now you've probably gotten used to my unintentional style of blogging furiously for a week or two, then stopping for a few months and then blogging furiously to catch up again. It is what it is for now, but I do hope to improve and become more regular so as not to play the catchup game so much.On that note, here is what we were up to in November.
Christine loves to do puzzles. Recently she has really been in to 3-D ones. She really enjoyed putting together this one of the London Bridge.
In Science Joshua, Rebecca and Caleb have started a unit on Bridges and Structures. Our first activity involved building with 'bricks'.
We compared different ways of layering the bricks and tried to blow them down.
The staggered bricks were definitely stronger!
November is always time to pack the shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child. Each child packs a box for someone their own age and gender and they also write a note to put in the box that tells a little about themselves for the child who will receive the box.
Caleb and Rebecca created their own place setting out of Lego, complete with Placemat, Fork, Knife, Spoon, Plate, Mug, Goblet, Meat, Potatoes and Veggies.
