Welcome to the blog of Lighthouse Christian Homeschool!
This blog serves three purposes:
1. To have a place to 'jot down' the day to day happenings in our homeschool for our support teacher to see, in hopes that some of the things we do will fit nicely into the provincial learning outcomes.
2. To keep my family up to date on what we're 'up to'.
3. To glorify God.
So on that note, come on in!

Christmas Craft Day
One of the things we like to do in December is host a Christmas Craft Day for our homeschool support group. The girls spend time together doing a Christmas Craft or two. They talk and talk and talk some more. The Moms help the girls, and chat and chat and chat some more. And the boys? They like to play outside (and for good weather we are truly thankful). They run and run and run some more. They play football and soccer and lots of other active games. Teenagers all the way down to little ones, playing together, visiting together, enjoying each other's company. This is homeschooling. This is our support network. These are our friends.
