Welcome to the blog of Lighthouse Christian Homeschool!

This blog serves three purposes:

1. To have a place to 'jot down' the day to day happenings in our homeschool for our support teacher to see, in hopes that some of the things we do will fit nicely into the provincial learning outcomes.

Magic Sand and Insta-Snow

We've been having lots of fun doing cool science experiments from our Big Bucket of Science that we bought from Steve Spangler Science (http://www.stevespanglerscience.com/product/big-bucket-of-science). We played with Magic Sand which doesn't get wet in water and also with Insta-Snow which is a super absorbent polymer. It's great fun and learning too. I went to put up pictures of this, but blogger seems to think I have no more space for photos unless I pay. Not sure what to do about this.

    Sorry you ran out of space for photos my friend! I do know there are ways around this. Perhaps by using Flickr?? Did I spell that right?? I'm not sure what the solution is...but, I know there is one...don't give up!

    I just wanted to let you know how much it has meant to me that you would be praying for us and for Austin...thank you SO much!! May the LORD bless you all with HIS peace and presence this Christmas Natasha...HE is Wonderful!! Merry Christmas!
